The First Week of a Whirld Wind Trip

To close out the summer, we went on a whirlwind trip through some of our favorite New England places and saw as many people we love as we could. A few highlights...

Some great cousin time in Connecticut...lots of game playing, a trip to a beloved nature area, and swimming in the lake - the only kids on the beach in the rain!


All in one day....hiking our favorite mountain in New Hampshire followed by blueberry picking with my grandmother, who the boys call Grammmie Crackers, topped off with a huge amount of ice cream from a family favorite.





We also snuck in a quick overnight visit to my best friend since college - we hadn't seen each other in over 6 years. Between us, that was 3 kids ago! Another night was spent with friends who employed me and did Girl Scouts with me while I was at UNH. The 3 kids I babysat are now all grown up and take care of my kids while we are there!
